Dana Legg Portrait
Dana Legg, a native of Marshalltown, Iowa, is a band leader with the heart of a trombonist. His musical versatility and talent has had him performing on cruise ships, with the Ringling Brothers Circus, and touring with both the Jan Garber and Guy Lombardo Orchestras. He has shared the stage and his creativity with great jazz artists like Ashley Alexander, Louis Bellson, Randy Brecker, Pete Christlieb, Mark Colby, Kurt Elling, Tim Eyerman, Carl Fontana, Bruce Forman, Tom Garling, Warren Kime, Nick Lane, Frank Mantooth, and Bobby Shew. Dana has also played consistently with headliners such as Tom Dreesen, The Mills Brothers, Jerry Vale, and Margaret Whiting.

Jazz Artist and Educator

Dana is available as a guest soloist/clinician for your school or community big band. He has experience with working with either high school or college groups, and can tailor his charts to the needs of any group.
